Parents Play Angry Birds at our Scrap Orchestra event

We set up a game of angry birds with some of the children  at the Somer Valley Play Park in Midsomer Norton over easter and they enjoyed using the catapult to hit over various targets like tins and other scrap materials. It wasn't long before Parents joined in the fun - they were great at helping out throughout the day.

We also had some children and adults making horns and drums and playing some of the musical instruments we had brought with us.

Our angry birds game quickly escalated into throwing the birds at each other across the play park and there were quite a few near misses and a couple of very good shots by the children.

Thanks to the help and involvement of everybody, their joining in and helping out meant we could leave safe in the knowledge that our communities are just getting bigger and stronger all the time.
